It took 6.5 weeks, or 19 raid nights, but yesterday we finally triumphed over Yogg-Saron and slayed him (or whatever parts of him stick out into Ulduar). It was the most exciting learning curve in WoTLK so far, and a great reminder of why we love to play this weird little game!

It's now back to Ulduar for Round II: The Hard Modes, where we find out how to break XT's heart, how many lives cats have and what exactly happens when you hit the Red Button.

Gratz us on the kill!

Oh, and for those who like to keep record, it was server #6, Europe #1337 (/flex) and World #2273.

Jeepers Keepers! 2 bosses left!

Last week Origin had their first look at Thorim, Freya and Mimiron, having killed Hodir the previous week.

We took our sweet time on Thorim, but with regular progress on the night we did the usual 'last pull of the night - tank dead, NUKE!' kill. Always fun.



The next day we went and saw Freya and, with relative ease, dispatched her buddies and freed the other green goddess.



An hour later we took a tram to the REAL King of the Gnomes (/hail) and after a few tactical adjustments broke his toy and the death god's grip.



All in all, a fun few fights and we look forward to going to see General Weesacs and Yogg-Sharon soon.

Come on Ulduar...! We don't have an eternity

Origin's preparation for patch 3.1 goes to the next level - impatience! We successfully managed after about 12hrs of jumping off dragons to kill Malygos inside 6 mins. 5:59 seconds still counts...

We'll spend the next while trying to achieve Immortal but our tendency for mistakes that are easily laughed at suggest we might be a little late with that. Otherwise, we're nearly done with this Wotlk v.1.
